Health Care Symposium
OHFA participated in the Health care Symposium organized by PSA Berlin. We had a productive time with students and community members, discussing various aspects of healthcare system in Germany. During the symposium we also had a chance to briefly highlight important dental procedures and how to use utilize them in the best way possible. We look forward to our next activity soon!
WELLNESS DAY CARNIVAL
OHFA participated in Wellness Carnival organized at the Baby First Nursery Dubai to educate kids about the correct brushing techniques along with improvements required in nutritional habits.

Oral Health Session 2
Dr Parsa conducted a general survey with the patients in order to know their level of understanding about the effects of smoking on teeth. Very few people had a clearer knowledge as in how smoking is having a direct or indirect effect on the teeth. With the help of a SMART talk Dr Parsa elaborated on the role of smoking with the structures surrounding the tooth and concluded the informative session by putting the people first.

Oral Health Session 1
Dr Anum Faruki conducted the first individualized oral health session at Ibtisamah Raieaa Dental Clinic based in Sharjah. She performed a tooth extraction procedure for a patient and thoroughly listened to him about the post extraction doubts. The information delivered to the patient involved elaborating on the process of healing, whether rinsing or spitting is advisable or not.
She also educated about the kind of food that could be taken and few other things to be completely avoided. Over all a positive relation was established with the patient by putting his concerns as a priority.
